Flash floods caused by heavy rains submerged several villages in Dera Ismail Khan as a bridge was damaged by floodwater in the district.Heavy rainfall continued in Dera Ismail Khan, which submerged the adjoining villages while land link of Paharpur villge disrupted with D.I. Khan. According to reports several houses and a bridge was also been damaged in flash floods.Protection walls constructed for the irrigation of fields were also damaged when floodwater entered fields in different areas.It was revealed that heavy rainfall on the mountains caused the flooding and widespread damage.
