Summary Punjab police on Wednesday killed suspected Taliban militant near Multan.
According to local police officials, CID police on tip of information intercepted a vehicle near Ghazi Ghat bride near Dera Ghazi Khan city on Wednesday afternoon.While search procedure, a suspect militant wearing suicide jacket, tried to explode his vest but before he did so, police opened fire and killed him on spot.Bomb Disposal Squad was called from Multan to defuse his suicide jacket and to clear his bag which police believed was full of hand grenades and other weapon.Police said deceased militant was belong to “Mati-ul-Allah” group of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
