Summary At least 40 suspects were arrested during search operation in different parts of Lahore.
Police conducted search operation in the area adjacent to Manawan Police training Centre during night between Monday and Tuesday.Police searched at least 250 houses and checked document of abot 755 persons. At least 109 people, who failed to provide any document, were detained by police. However 96 of those were released after guarantee provided by local residents while 13 suspects were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.During a similar operation in north of Cantt and adjacent areas, 27 suspects were arrested. Police also seized three motorcycles during the operation.
