Summary Bodies of seven miners kidnapped some days ago were found Thursday from the suburban area of Degari.

According to sources, the deceased were identified as Deen Mohammad, Ahmedullah, Kashir Khan, Khan Mohammad, Mohammad Nawaz, Abdul Ahmed and Mohammad Akbar. They belonged to Swat in Khyber Pakhtunkwa province.It is worthy of note that unidentified gunmen had kidnapped seven coalmine workers from the Sorange mining fields, some 20 kilometres away from Quetta on July 7 Saturday.Chief Inspector Mines Iftikhar Ahmed had confirmed the kidnapping incident.The miners were working for a private coalmine company in Marwar called United Mineral Company.No group has so far claimed the responsibility of the incident.Having information about dead bodies, a large number of people in consultation with the Pashtun Khawah Milli Party gathered there in front of Quetta High Court and shouted slogans against the establishment.Protestors also piled stones on police and security forces, resultantly, an SP and DSP were injured. Later, high officials assured the mourning people that stern action would be taken against violators.The Supreme Court also directed the Chief Secretary that a high-level commission should be formed in order to conduct an inquiry of the said tragic incident.
