Summary The heirs of a man allegedly killed in police torture protested in Dera Ghazi Khan on Sunday.
According to details, a person namely Khalid was allegedly killed in torture by Drakhwast Jamal Khan Police officials on Saturday.The heirs of Khalid put his corpse on Jail Road and protested against police brutality.The protesters said police arrested Khalid during checking and moved him to an unknown place under accusation of possessing a pistol.Later, Khalid’s tortured dead body was found near a local nullah.The protesting family members demanded the Punjab CM to file a case of murder against those policemen who are involved in the brutal torture on Khalid.DG Khan DPO Chauhdry Muhammad Saleem suspended SHO of Darkhwast Jamal Khan and a case of murder has been registered against two police officials.
