Summary A policeman was shot dead by car snatchers at a check post near 9th Avenue in Islamabad.
According to police, the dacoits were trying to flee after snatching car from a citizen Umar Beig in Sector F-10 when the policemen stopped them at the check post. The car snatchers opened fire and ASI Asghar Abbas of Anti Car Lifting Cell.The Eagle Squad of police chased the robbers but they succeeded to escape after leaving the car near H-8 graveyard.Police cordoned off the area and started search operation.
