According to details, a public meeting was arranged in Hasanabad area of Multan. When Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) MPA Usman Bhatti reached the public meeting point, an activist of PPP, resorted to aerial firing but died due to own gun shots.New multan Police reached the spot and sent the body to hospital for autopsy and started investigation.Meanwhile, PPP activists resorted to aerial firing during former prime minister Yousuf raza Gilani’s son Abdul Qadir Gilani’s election rally in Multan. Police remained a silent spectator on the occasion.
