Summary A man Saturday gunned down her daughter as she wedded against his will.
One and a half month ago, 17-year-old Nida, daughter of Shaukat Ali’s from Banka Chima village, wedded Naveed Hira who was resident of Faisalabad.After some time, the father of the girl succeeded in tracing her and took her back to his home, with the promise that she would be sent to her husband through proper channel while fulfilling traditional norms.On the other hand, the girl insisted to survive along with her husband in Faisalabad.At this, the man got irritated and ultimately fired her daughter with a pistol, killing her on the spot. The corpse of victim was shifted to hospital for post-mortem while police have registered case on the application moved by her uncle.
