Summary District government is considering introducing water emergency plan to overcome shortage of water.
In this regard, ultimate decision would be taken within two or three days. District Administration is of the view that swimming pools and service stations would be bound to abide by regulations set by the authority. Nobody would be allowed to wash vehicles in front of his or her house. Leaves of Wasa employees would be cancelled. Provision of diesel supply to generators installed on tubewells has also been multiplied. In the same way, number of tankers supplying water to scared areas also has been doubled.
