According to details, six dacoits entered the house of Bashir in Tiba Kareemabad to commit robbery. Bashir and his son Imran offered resistance upon which the dacoits resorted to aerial firing.The residents of the area gathered after hearing the fire sound and surrounded the dacoits and recovered from them a motorcycle bearing police number plate, mobile phones, service card and CNIC. However the dacoits managed to flee from the spot.Police Station City has registered a case against six persons including two cops. The resident staged a protest against police failure to arrest the accused.
