Faisalabad: Dacoit killed in police encounter

Encounter between police and dacoits in Faisalabad left one dacoit dead and injured two policemen.

According to police, two dacoits riding on a motorcycle without number plate opened fire on the police party when they intercepted at the Satiyana Road.Two police constables, Sharjeel Akbar and Zaryab were injured due to firing by dacoits. Police returned the fire which injured one dacoit while the other managed to escape from the scene. The injured dacoit was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
