HYDERABAD (Dunya News) - Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) Chief Faizullah Dahri has clarified the presence of electricity poles along the newly constructed road from Alamdaar Chowk to the Old National Highway.

Dahri said there had been no road at the location previously and that a new road was currently being constructed.

He explained that poles serving 27 feeders of the 132kV Qasimabad Grid Station were already installed along the route where the road construction project was approved.

According to the HESCO chief, the company has installed 100 new poles at the site. Of these, 62 have been shifted, while work on relocating the remaining poles is progressing rapidly.

Dahri said the road was still under construction and had not yet been opened to traffic. However, some citizens had started using it prematurely and circulated a video of the site, which subsequently went viral.

He described it as a historic road project, saying its completion would provide significant relief to Hyderabad residents in terms of road infrastructure.
