HANGU (Dunya News) - The district administration has imposed Section 144 in Hangu district in view of the prevailing law and order situation, banning gatherings of more than five people and unauthorised assemblies at public places for 30 days.

According to an official notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Hangu Baseer Ali Rehman Khan, the restrictions have taken effect immediately and will remain in force for one month across the district.

The notification stated that the decision was taken in view of the prevailing security situation to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents.

Under the restrictions, gatherings involving more than five people will be prohibited, while unauthorised assemblies at public places will not be permitted throughout the district.

The district administration said the measures were necessary to maintain peace and ensure public safety amid the prevailing circumstances.

The restrictions will apply across Hangu district for the entire 30-day period, the notification added.
