Summary The Pakistan Airports Authority has established special facilitation counters to guide and assist affected passengers
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The ongoing tensions in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries have begun disrupting flight operations at airports across Pakistan, including Lahore, with several flights delayed or cancelled.
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has established special facilitation counters to guide and assist affected passengers.
According to the PAA, cancellations and delays involving direct flights to various Saudi cities have caused difficulties for travellers.
Special arrangements have therefore been introduced at airports to facilitate passengers facing disruptions.
At Lahore Airport, a passenger facilitation counter has been established on Level II, opposite the international departure entrance.
The counter will provide essential information, guidance and assistance to passengers affected by flight cancellations and delays.

The PAA has directed relevant airlines to deploy their representatives at the facilitation counters whenever flights are delayed or cancelled.
Airline staff will provide timely updates on flight status, revised departure schedules and other necessary information.
PAA personnel will also remain available at the counters to guide passengers and help coordinate with airlines to address their concerns.
The authority has instructed airlines to extend full cooperation to passengers and ensure their representatives remain available at the designated counters.
Officials said the measures aim to reduce inconvenience caused by flight disruptions and ensure passengers receive timely and accurate information.
Passengers have been advised to confirm their flight status and departure time with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport.
