ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has returned to Pakistan after completing his international engagements, which included visits to London and the United States.
The prime minister had initially travelled to the United Kingdom on a two-day visit before proceeding to the United States. During his stay in London, he was scheduled to hold meetings and participate in other engagements ahead of his US visit, although details of the initial schedule were not disclosed.
Shehbaz Sharif then travelled to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly session. He addressed the UN General Assembly on September 25, where he highlighted Pakistan’s position on key regional and international issues and participated in high-level diplomatic engagements.
Following his US engagements, the prime minister travelled back to London, where he spent a further four days as part of his international engagements. During his stay, he attended an event at the London Stock Exchange and held meetings with heads of British financial institutions.
After completing his London engagements, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for Pakistan from London’s Luton Airport aboard his special aircraft.
