The parallel government of Taliban has been abolished in Swat, NWFP Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said. He said that IDPs return would start from today in its fourth stage. Addressing a press conference in Peshawar he said that 65,000 families had returned to Swat so far. He said that Town Municipal Administration officials in Swat, Buner and Shangla were absent. Any government official found involved in terrorism will be terminated after confirmation, he warned. He said that drinking water wasnt available in 30percent areas in Swat however Rs 34 million from the Chief Ministers Relief Fund would be given to works and services. He also said that he had contacted the Federal Government for an aid of Rs 2.5 million to help affected families.
