Summary Balochistan Interior Minister Ziaullah Langau accused Mahmood Achakzai of misleading the public by avoiding naming terrorists and placing responsibility for attacks on the government.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has accused National Assembly opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai of misleading the public by avoiding naming the terrorists responsible for attacks.

Reacting to Mahmood Khan Achakzai’s statement, Ziaullah Langau said refusing to name terrorists amounted to fear, adding that a terrorist organization had already claimed responsibility for the Saranan attack.

The Balochistan interior minister said Achakzai was misleading the public by avoiding naming terrorist groups due to fear for his life. He said this was the kind of fear that could not be removed from the hearts of some leaders and described such an approach as hypocrisy.

Ziaullah Langau said some leaders were taking shortcuts by placing all responsibility on the government. He said leaders were afraid for their lives, which was why they were reluctant to name terrorist organizations.

He said the people of Balochistan were being kept unaware of the actual facts while all responsibility was being placed on the government. He added that a true leader should lead the people in the field and convey the truth to them.

The Balochistan interior minister further said that showing the Pashtun people the wrong path instead of telling them the facts and truth was not friendship with the Pashtuns but open hostility toward them.
