Summary Schools across Punjab have reopened after the summer break, with educational activities resuming as students return to classrooms and school timings set from 8am to 1:30pm.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Educational activities have officially resumed across Punjab after the summer break, with all public and private schools reopening across the province today.
After the long holidays, schools once again came to life as students returned to their educational institutions with enthusiasm and excitement. Teachers also warmly welcomed students as the new academic phase began.
With teaching activities resuming in classrooms, school courtyards and corridors once again echoed with the voices of children.
Parents also expressed happiness over their children’s return to school, hoping that the new academic year would bring success, hard work and a brighter future for students.
Teachers across the province warmly welcomed students back to school, while chocolates were distributed among children at several schools.
Meanwhile, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat welcomed students back to school after the summer holidays.
The education minister said school timings from Monday to Friday had been set across Punjab, directing educational institutions to arrange their schedules according to the timings specified in the notification. School hours have been fixed from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
He said the journey of learning would move forward with renewed energy from where it had stopped. He directed teachers to play a full role in restoring the educational continuity of children whose studies had been disrupted for any reason during the holidays.
Rana Sikandar Hayat said preventing an increase in the number of out-of-school children was a major challenge and bringing every child to school was a shared responsibility.
The provincial education minister further said consultations were underway to formulate a new strategy to prevent educational losses in the future.
