ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said the government has decided to approach the Supreme Court for a review of its order concerning the medical treatment and health of PTI founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media, Tarar said the government had reviewed the court’s order regarding Imran Khan’s treatment and consulted its legal team on other aspects of the directive.

He said certain matters remained unclear and the government was approaching the Supreme Court to seek clarification and resolve the ambiguities through the legal process.

The law minister said many prisoners in the country’s jails were also facing health-related issues, raising the question of whether the Supreme Court’s order would apply to all prisoners or remain limited to Imran Khan’s case.

Tarar clarified that convicted prisoners are provided medical treatment at government hospitals, adding that any ambiguity surrounding the court’s order would be addressed through the appropriate legal procedure.
