Summary Says PPP attempted to make AJK elections controversial
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has alleged that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) attempted to make AJK elections controversial, saying government countdown remarks are just political statements.
Speaking at Dunya News programme ‘ON THE FRONT’, Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that the PPP did not care about political ethics and maturity. If there was evidence of rigging, it would have come to light, the minister added.
All countdown statements are political. Complaints are from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, but a press conference is being held in Karachi. New government will be formed in Azad Kashmir next week, the minister remarked.
The federal minister said that the talk about criminal records on judges is not true. There is no threat to the government on September 27. Armed groups will not be allowed to enter Islamabad, and PTI itself is facing division in its ranks.
