ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah will undertake a two-day official visit to Pakistan from tomorrow (Tuesday).

The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During the visit, the Kuwaiti foreign minister will hold talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

The two sides will review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.

Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah is also expected to pay a courtesy call on the leadership of Pakistan.

The visit reflects the shared resolve of Pakistan and Kuwait to further strengthen their enduring partnership and expand cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan's strong support for the United Nations and effective multilateralism.

He expressed these views during a telephonic conversation with Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Mariano Grossi.

During the conversation, both sides exchanged views on the latest regional developments and underscored the importance of continued diplomacy, dialogue, and constructive engagement in advancing regional and international peace and stability.

The IAEA Director General expressed hope that the parties would sustain dialogue and engagement following the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, with a view to achieving a peaceful and durable outcome.
