LAHORE (Muhammad Ashfaq) – The schedule for interviews of candidates seeking appointment as judges in the country's high courts has been announced, with interviews for the four high courts set to begin from July 13.

According to the schedule, interviews for candidates aspiring to join the Islamabad High Court and the Balochistan High Court will be held on July 13.

Interviews for appointments to the Sindh High Court are scheduled for July 14 and 15, while candidates for the Lahore High Court will appear before the committee on July 16 and 17.

Lahore High Court reconstitutes Administration Committee, issues official notification

A total of 24 candidates have been shortlisted for interviews for judges' appointments to the Lahore High Court.

According to the notification, the interview committee for the Lahore High Court and the Islamabad High Court will be headed by Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi. Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum, being the senior-most chief justice, will serve as a member of all interview committees.

Meanwhile, the committee for interviews of candidates seeking appointment to the Sindh High Court and the Balochistan High Court will be chaired by Justice Aamer Farooq.

Attorney General for Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan will also serve as a member of the interview committees. Senator Farooq H. Naek, Senator Syed Ali Zafar and Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon have also been appointed as members of the committees.
