GILGIT-BALTISTAN (Dunya News) – PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed the newly formed government to prepare a 100-day plan for the development of Gilgit-Baltistan and run the government by living among the people.

A meeting of the PPP Gilgit-Baltistan was held at the Chief Minister House Gilgit under the chairmanship of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in which the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Amjad Hussain Advocate and other party leaders and office-bearers participated.
During the meeting, party officials presented their report to the PPP chairman regarding the upcoming elections, while also presenting various suggestions to make administrative affairs in Gilgit-Baltistan more effective.

Bilawal Bhutto said that a 100-day comprehensive plan should be prepared for the development of Gilgit-Baltistan and a performance report on its implementation should be submitted to him after the specified period.

The PPP leader directed that effective implementation of legislation related to property rights be ensured, while a resolution regarding sovereignty should be presented in the first session of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.

He added that while directing the immediate completion of groundwork for the holding of local government elections, he urged the party organisation to further strengthen public relations.
