ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has extended Eidul Azha greetings to Muslims across the country and the wider Muslim world.
In his message, he said Eidul Azha reflects the values of sacrifice, obedience to Allah, compassion, and devotion, as demonstrated through the faith of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Ismail (AS). He added that the festival carries a powerful lesson of surrendering personal desires and ego in pursuit of divine will.
Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan and their families on this occasion, acknowledging their sacrifices for the country. He described those who laid down their lives for the homeland as true heroes whose contributions cannot be measured or repaid.
He further said that security personnel continue to spend Eid away from their loved ones while protecting the nation, reflecting their dedication and commitment to duty.
The interior minister prayed for peace, stability, and prosperity for Pakistan and the Muslim world on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
