KHANPUR MEHAR (Dunya News) – A woman was killed and nine other persons were wounded when a gas cylinder exploded in a van in Khanpur Mehar, a city in Ghotki District of Sindh province, on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

The incident occurred near Sharbat Jaskani village of Khanpur Mehar where a van carrying 22 people of Hindu community caught fire after cylinder blast, killing a woman on the spot and injuring nine other persons.

Police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead and injured to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital. Rescue teams later shifted the seriously injured persons to a hospital in Gambat.
