Electricity shortage to decrease by end of July: Pervaiz Ashraf

Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has said that electricity shortage will decrease by the end of July. He said that production of 1100 mega watts would start in Mangla Dam from July 25 thus the power shortage would decrease. He said that electricity crisis generated in Karachi following fierce rains would be overcome soon. He said that record rains had devastated the electricity system in Karachi. He said that government would keep public interest in privatization of the government institutions. He said that by 2020, some 179 projects of hydel power would be completed in the country.
