Summary Security forces foiled suicide attack in South Waziristan, killing attacker while seven civilians were injured and shifted to hospital.

WANA (Dunya News) - A suicide attack on a Pakistan Army check post in South Waziristan was foiled, leaving seven civilians injured.

According to reports, militants attempted to target a military post in the Azam Warsak area using an explosives-laden vehicle.

Security forces, acting on high alert, intercepted and destroyed the vehicle before it could reach its target.

The timely action prevented major casualties, while the suicide attacker was killed in the operation.

Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.

Hospital officials confirmed that seven injured civilians were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Wana for treatment.
