Summary India’s anti-Pakistan narrative after Pahalgam incident weakens as facts, AI image claims and global scrutiny expose inconsistencies and security lapses
SRINAGAR (Dunya News) - Following the Pahalgam false flag incident, India’s narrative against Pakistan has been proven misleading in the face of verified facts.
Soon after the Pahalgam episode, a coordinated campaign was launched to level baseless allegations against Pakistan. Right-wing circles and pro-government media aggressively promoted an anti-Pakistan narrative without presenting credible evidence.
Reports revealed that images of the alleged victims presented by the Indian government were AI-generated. International media also rejected claims regarding the death of an Indian army officer and his wife, confirming that both were alive.

Within India, voices also emerged questioning the government’s narrative and highlighting serious lapses in the country’s security system. However, authorities have yet to provide convincing answers to the critical questions raised about the incident.
According to global experts, the anti-Pakistan narrative built on fabricated claims failed to sustain itself without solid and verifiable evidence. The Modi government also failed to conceal serious flaws in its security system through what has been described as a baseless narrative.
