KARACHI (Dunya News) - A tragic incident occurred in Bin Qasim Town where a young girl lost her life after falling into an underground water tank at her home.
According to police, the incident took place near Nad Ali Imambargah in Dar Muhammad Goth, Piri Sindhi Goth. The deceased was identified as 3-year-old Bibi Shifa, daughter of Rashid.
Her body was shifted to a nearby hospital through an Edhi ambulance.
SHO Bin Qasim Town Faisal Rafique stated that the child’s father, a laborer working as a driver, was away at work at the time of the incident, while her mother was busy with household chores. During this time, the child accidentally fell into the underground water tank while playing, resulting in her death.
Police completed necessary legal formalities and handed over the body to the family.
The incident has created an atmosphere of grief in the area, while citizens are being advised to ensure safety measures at homes to prevent such tragedies.
