LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) has adopted a firm, clear and decisive stance in response to Indian actions following the Pahalgam incident.

After the developments of April 22, 2025, an emergency meeting of the NSC was held on April 24, 2025, to review the evolving situation. Participants conducted a detailed assessment of the national security environment and the broader regional context.

The committee reiterated Pakistan’s principled stance against terrorism in all forms and expressions.

It also highlighted concerns over regional narratives and called for responsible conduct to avoid escalation.

The forum stated that Pakistan will respond effectively to any threats to its sovereignty and the safety of its people.

It also underscored that water resources are a vital national interest and any disruption to Pakistan’s share would be taken seriously.

The NSC reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to peace, while maintaining full readiness to safeguard its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national interests under all circumstances.
