Pak-Afghan joint efforts essential to counter terrorism: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Pakistan and Afghanistan should do joint efforts to combat terrorism. He said that next month Biometric System would be installed on the Pak-Afghan Border. Malik is on an official visit to Afghanistan these days. Addressing a press conference with his Afghan Counterpart in Kabul, Malik said that his talks with Afghan President and other officials had been very fruitful. Earlier, Malik had met with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. The two discussed bilateral relations, counter terrorism strategies, regional situation and other issues of mutual interest. Afghan President praised Pakistans role in war on terror.
