ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has claimed that Bushra Bibi has been shifted to a hospital.
In a post on social media platform X, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said he was informed last night that Bushra Bibi had been moved to a hospital, adding that further details regarding her treatment were awaited.
He urged authorities to provide information regarding her medical condition.
He further stated that he has requested permission for family members to meet her, adding that they are also awaiting arrangements for meeting the party founder.
He emphasized that access to medical treatment is a fundamental and legal right.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shafi Jan expressed concern over reports regarding her health, terming the Punjab government’s silence and alleged negligence on the matter regrettable.
He said that Bushra Bibi is a non-political woman and that any politically motivated behavior by the Punjab government is unacceptable.
He added that attempts to weaken Imran Khan have failed in the past and will continue to fail, claiming that the federal and Punjab governments lack public mandate and their “dreams” of weakening him will never come true.
