Imran Khan appeals to SC against by-elections

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to stop by-elections.

Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan, through a miscellaneous petition, appealed to the Supreme Court to stop by-elections in 10 constituencies on February 27.Imran Khan took the stance in the petition that the case regarding bogus voters list is already pending in the Supreme Court and the court had also directed the Election Commission that by-elections should not be conducted according to old voters’ lists.The petitioner appealed to the court to issue a stay order to stop by polls till new voters lists are prepared by the Election Commission.
