LAHORE (Dunya News) – A fire broke out in a warehouse in Lahore on Friday, prompting an immediate emergency response.

According to sources, rescue teams rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a blaze near Barkat Market, close to a Shell petrol pump.

Rescue officials said that the caller initially reported that the fire had erupted in a house; however, preliminary information suggests that the blaze engulfed a warehouse-like building.

Fire and rescue operations are currently underway, with multiple emergency vehicles present at the site.

Despite several hours having passed, the fire has yet to be brought under control.

Sources further revealed that a large number of chairs were stored inside the warehouse, which contributed to the rapid spread of the flames.
