An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan, ordering her arrest and court appearance on Wednesday in a protest case.
RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – A Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan, directing police to arrest her and present her before the court on Wednesday.
The court was hearing a case related to the November 26 protest. Proceedings were adjourned until Wednesday after the court rejected Aleema Khan’s plea for exemption from appearance and issued a written order.
Following the court’s directive, a special police team reached the location to enforce the arrest warrants. The team was led by DSP Syed Azhar Shah, who oversaw the process to ensure compliance with the court order.
Legal observers say the case has now entered a decisive phase, with the court taking a firm stance after repeated absences.
