All trains from Quetta suspended amid rising security concerns

All trains from Quetta to Punjab, Karachi and Chaman were suspended amid security concerns after recent terror attacks in Balochistan; passengers assured ticket refunds railway authorities.
QUETTA (Dunya News) - All trains operating from Quetta to other parts of the country and within the province have been suspended.
According to railway sources, the Jaffar Express bound for Punjab, the Bolan Mail service to Karachi, and the Chaman Passenger train running from Quetta to Chaman have all been suspended.
They further stated that the Jaffar Express coming from Peshawar was stopped at Jacobabad; however, affected passengers will be refunded their tickets.
Train services suspended across Balochistan today
It is worth noting that on January 29, 2026, security forces killed 30 terrorists during an operation in Harnai, Balochistan, while 11 more terrorists were eliminated in Panjgur.
Meanwhile, terrorists attacked police again today, resulting in two officers being martyred and three injured, while last night the CTD killed three terrorists during an operation.
