PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The district administration in Abbottabad has imposed Section 144, banning the sale, purchase and use of drones due to security concerns.
According to an official notification, flying drones has been completely prohibited across the district, and the ban will remain in force for two months. The authorities said the step was taken as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident and to keep the situation under control.
The administration warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating the orders. Residents have also been advised to stay alert and immediately report any suspicious activity to the police or the control room.
Officials said the decision was taken to nip potential threats in the bud and ensure public safety, urging citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
