Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that former PM Nawaz Sharif promoted a culture of public service and development-oriented politics
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif promoted a culture of public service and development-oriented politics in the country.
Addressing a ceremony at Lahore Press Club on Saturday, Attaullah Tarar said that the public should go and see the condition of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He added that from Karachi to Peshawar and from Gilgit to Gwadar, development projects bearing Nawaz Sharif’s name can be found across the country.
He said it was an honour for him to be among senior journalists, adding that his association with journalism and journalists goes back a long way.
Tarar alleged that attempts were made to mislead the younger generation through conspiracies.

The information minister said that hatred was spread in the minds of the youth against Nawaz Sharif, despite the fact that he promoted politics based on service to the people.
He added that Nawaz Sharif’s name is inscribed on plaques of major development projects across the country.
He alleged that PTI promoted politics of character assassination and hatred, adding that such practices—labeling opponents as thieves, godfathers, or resorting to abusive language—were not common in the past.
He said Pakistan holds significant importance at the international level, and world leaders speak positively about Nawaz Sharif.
