Sindh announces winter vacations

Sindh has announced winter vacations from December 22–31, with schools reopening January 1, while Punjab will observe a longer break extending to January 10, 2026.
KARACHI (Web Desk) - The Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee has released the schedule for winter vacations across the province, confirming that all public and private educational institutions will remain closed from December 22 to 31.
A department spokesperson said that all schools will reopen on January 1, adding that supplementary examinations conducted by education boards will proceed as planned and remain unaffected by the holiday schedule.
Winter holidays 2025 announced across Punjab, Balochistan schools
The announcement follows shortly after Punjab issued its own winter vacation notification, declaring that all public and private schools in the province will observe holidays from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026.
