RAWALPINDI (Dunya News)- The anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi has ordered the confiscation of Aleema Khan’s bail bonds in 26 November protest case.

The ATC judge heard the case registered against Aleema Khan and 11 other accused in connection with the protest held on November 26. Aleema Khan and her lawyers did not appear before the court during the hearing.

The court issued bailable arrest warrants and notices for the cancellation of her bail. A contempt of court notice was also issued.

The prosecution requested the court to confiscate Aleema Khan’s bail bonds, arguing that she had assured the court she would appear at every hearing.

The court accepted the request and ordered the seizure of two bail bonds worth Rs1 million each.

The Anti-Terrorism Court adjourned the case until December 15.
