Summary Supreme Court has clarified that it has not issued any order banning by-polls.
The statement issued by the Supreme Court said that Secretary Election Commission has tried to give the impression in the press conference that the SC has halted by-polls.It was further said in the statement that Supreme Court had not issued any stay order regarding by-polls; rather it had issued an order that polls should not be arranged by dint of bogus voting lists.According to the SC, the first and foremost aim of exclusion of 37 million bogus votes is preparation of transparent lists.
