The government of Punjab has decided to withdraw from Hafiz Saeed case and filed a plea in Supreme Court. According to advocate general Punjab Raza Farooq, the Ameer of Jamaatudawa Hafiz Saeed was put under house arrest on the directives of federal government, which has failed to provide solid evidences for house arrest. Therefore, Punjab government has decided to disassociate itself from Hafiz Saeed case. A petition for the withdrawal of the case has been filed in Supreme Court, he added.
