Notification for gas supply to industries in Punjab issued

After more than one month’s suspension, the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL) will restore gas supply to the industries in Punjab on a rotation basis today from 6:00am. Notification in this regard has been issued.According to the notification issued by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd (SNGPL), Punjab has been divided into four zone and industries in each zone will be provided gas for two days in a week. The industrial associations, the federal minister for petroleum and natural resources had announced resuming natural gas supplies to the industry for three days a week. However, this decision was reverted to two day in SNGPL notification.The SNGPL officials maintained that the gas supply will be enhanced for another day after winter season.
