Addressing to Defence of Pakistan Conference at Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi, Jamaatud Dawa Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said that efforts were being made to destroy Pakistan economically by declaring India the most favoured nation.Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan, in his address, said that conditions for reopen NATO supplies were being negotiated but we would not allowed to inked this agreement of slavery.Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that Pakistan was facing internal problems which could be solved only when religious parties would unite on a single platform.General (r) Aslam Baig said that secular system was threat to Pakistan and people sitting in assemblies could not change the fate of people.The conference was organized by Pakistan Defence Council (PDC) at Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi which primarily aimed to build national consensus against countering US aggression like NATO attacks, MFN status to India and to pressurise government for quitting US war on terror.The leadership of the PDC, a platform of over two dozen religious and political parties, was recently formed to highlight the impending dangers of national defence and security as a result of complete surrender before Washington dictates by rulers in Islamabad.Thousands of people from all walks of life participated the conference. Earlier, PDC held a conference in Lahore on december18, 2011.
