ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court, requesting an expedited hearing for her application to suspend the sentence in the £190 million case.

In her petition, Bushra Bibi argues that, according to judicial policy, applications for bail and suspension of sentences should be prioritiaed and heard promptly. She claimed that her case is being unjustly delayed and is being neglected without valid reason.

The petition also highlighted that failing to schedule a hearing for her case violates the Women Protection Act and goes against the rulings of the Supreme Court.

She has urged the court to quickly hear her request for sentence suspension, making the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) a party in the case.
