One killed as truck hits motorcycle in Uch Sharif

The accident took place at the National Highway near Uch Sharif where a rashly driven truck hit a motorcycle, killing one person on the spot.
UCH SHARIF (Dunya News) – One person lost his life when the motorcycle he was riding on was hit by a truck in Uch Sharif, a city in Punjab province, on late Friday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the accident took place at the National Highway near Uch Sharif where a rashly driven truck hit a motorcycle, killing one person on the spot. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Ghulam Farid.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital. The dead body was later handed over to the deceased's heirs after completion of the necessary legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have seized the truck and arrested the driver. Police have also started investigation after registering a case.
