LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Lahore High Court has announced its verdict on the petition challenging the disqualification of former provincial assembly member Ahmad Khan Bhachar.
According to sources, the court dismissed the plea as non-maintainable. Justice Khalid Ishaq issued a 10-page judgment, stating that the petitioner is a convicted and absconding individual.
The verdict further noted that the petition cannot be entertained unless the petitioner surrenders before the court.
The court emphasised that Ahmad Khan Bhachar must first submit to arrest before seeking any legal remedy.
