Quetta (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, has said that a handful of people are trying to break Pakistan through the use of guns.

Addressing a ceremony held in connection with Independence Day, Chief Minister Bugti stated that our elders made countless sacrifices for our beloved country, Pakistan. He paid tribute to the brave armed forces of Pakistan who gave India a tough time in the just battle. He said the entire nation united during the war against India.

He added that the president, prime minister, and the field marshal also displayed leadership in that just battle and deserve tribute. Celebrations are being held across Balochistan from Gwadar to Zhob, and he congratulated the people of Balochistan on this occasion.

He said that a small group of people is trying to break Pakistan by force of arms, adding that Balochistan is home to people who preserve traditional values, but those traditions are being brutally crushed. Women, innocent children, and travelers are being mercilessly martyred. We all need to stand up against these terrorists.

Bugti said that we will have to look these terrorists in the eye. They are trampling on our traditions. The people of Balochistan are known to sacrifice their lives for their guests, but these terrorists are pulling travelers off buses and murdering them. This wave of terrorism, unrest, and insecurity will soon come to an end. We have seen such incidents in Balochistan before.

The CM further stated that soldiers of the Pakistan Army, the police, and security agencies are laying down their lives. The sun of peace will surely rise in this region with full brightness.
