Emphasises PTI advocating for truth and democracy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Secretary General of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Salman Akram Raja, has stated that the party is committed to peaceful resistance and that their struggle will continue.
Speaking on the program "Dunya with Meher Bukhari", he said that a repressive environment prevails in the country, and hundreds of peaceful PTI members have been arrested.
He emphasised that PTI is advocating for truth and democracy, and that the people stand with the party.
Commenting on the matter of PTI founder’s son, he said that he wishes to come to Pakistan, and that the visa application has been submitted to the High Commission, which is responsible for processing it.
He further added that unjust punishments are being handed to PTI leaders and workers. “The evidence and testimonies are of the same kind—two policemen are brought forward and based on that, sentences are announced,” he said.
