Bilawal vows to seek UN ban on BLA, Majeed Brigade
Pakistan
He announced plans to push for a United Nations ban on these groups.
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari accused the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Majeed Brigade of siding with India. He announced plans to push for a United Nations ban on these groups.
Speaking after inaugurating Khan Bahadur Hassan Ali Afandi Park, Bilawal welcomed the U.S. decision to designate both groups as terrorist organizations, calling it a major win for Pakistan’s stance.
He alleged the BLA and Majeed Brigade have attacked workers and civilians, and openly supported Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during recent tensions.

On water issues, Bilawal criticized India for threats to block the Indus River, stressing that under the Indus Waters Treaty, Pakistan must receive its share. Calling the river a “lifeline” for the nation, he urged unity across provinces and adoption of modern farming techniques like drip irrigation to conserve water.
He also demanded provinces receive their constitutional share under the National Finance Commission (NFC) award, saying the federal government’s tax collection failures should not penalize provinces. Bilawal denied any government consultation with PPP on the proposed 27th constitutional amendment, calling such reports media speculation.
